Grant Curran, owner of the "double muscle" heifer which sold for 74c a pound at the Ontario Stockyards in April is pictured with Bill Taylor, Lucknow Co-op shipper, and his son, Brad. Grant purchased the heifer at the Lucknow Community Sales Barn. A "double muscled" heifer belonging to Grant Curran, R. R. 7 Lucknow, brought top price at the Ontario Stockyards on Wednesday, April 26, 1978. The heifer will yield twice the number of steaks because of its double layer of muscle. This is a freak occurrence as heifers cannot be bred as double muscle, it is something which happens rarely. To the buyer "double muscle" is "double steak" and they are willing to pay a bigger price because of the potential meat yield. 1977 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS, with 'airconditioning 2 1977 PONTIACS, PARISIENNE BROUGHAM, 4 doors 1976 VOLARE 1976 LA MANS, stationwagon 1976 PONTIAC LE MANS, 4 door, air conditioned 2 1975 CHEV IMPALAS, 4 door hardtops, 1 with air conditioning and 1 without - 1975 FORD, Custom, 4 door sedan 1975 CHEVELLE, 2 door hardtop 1975 MONTE CARLO 2 - 1975 PONTIAC PARISIENNE Brougham, 1 with air, 1 without 1974 BUICK CENTURY, 2 door 1973 PONTIAC BROUGHAM, 4 door 1973 CHEV IMPALA, 4 door hardtop 1973 PONTIAC, LE MANS 1977 CHEV 3/4 TON, with 4 wheel. drive 3 1973 FORDS, 1 ton cab and chassis 1973 CHEV, 3/4 ton, 4 speed automatic 1975 G.M.C. 1/2 ton. pickup 1973 CHEV, 50 series 1975 FORD LV 750 A number of vans from 1974-1976.
