Thisis the Centen- nial year of Midland Vyhich is the home town of Mrs. Jim Burt. Mr. and Mrs. Ian Mac- Kenzie and family of Colburg visited with. Mr. and Mrs. Frank MacKenzie. Mrs. MacKenzie and • children spent the week here and left on Sunday to go home. Miss Linda McQuillin of Toronto is spending her holidays with her parents, St. Mr. and Mrs. Dick McQuil- lin. The band members of Lucknow Band enjoyed a trip the past Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They played in different schools throughout their trip and marched in the Lions Parade in Bramalea on Saturday. A very enjoyable evening was spent listening to the music of the different chur- ches at Christian Reformed Church on Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Jan- son of Cochrane called on Mr. and Mrs. Dick McQuillin last week while visiting with relatives in the community. Following graduation they all had dinner at the Vavarian Inn in Kitchener. Kathy O'Toole of Mount Albert visited last weekend with Janice Gaunt and they spent the weekend at Point Clark.
