Bob McIntosh, local sales manager, says the shut down comes at a peak season, as last week's sale was the biggest yet held, with many good cattle being offered at this time. Close to 300 ladies of the Zone II Ladies' Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion assembled at the- Town Hall, Lucknow, when the 11 branches gathered for a Zone Rally. Frank Graham was provoked on Monday when a little Bunting bird was shot on his farm which is ° a sort of bird santuary. This little bird and its brightly coloured mate have nested on the Graham Farm for two years and Frank says they are very rare in these parts.
