Lane Gardner attended the
Commemorative Reunion of The
Battle of Atlantic held in Sarnia
on May 5, 6, and 7. The battle
was different because there was
no decisive victory on any given
day, but rather, a battle that
lasted over a periqd of years, with
victory being the preservation of a
better way of life. Good times
were remembered and the bad
they try to forget.

The people of Kincardine are
reading THE WEEKENDER, a
new, light and breezy newspaper
which will hit the streets 'for the
first time this Friday, May 12. A
tabloid style newspaper, like the
Sentinel, it is a supplement to the
Kincardine News, to be published
each Friday. It is the first
