word she does not know.
Richard's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Kwan Shan Kong, are living
with Richard and Gloria above the
restaurant. Richard has a younger
brother living in Toronto, and a
sister and brother living in
Vancouver as well as his sister
who lives in Woodstock. He has
two sisters who live in Hong
Kong. Gloria's .family of two
sisters and one brother live in
Hong Kong and she has a sister in
Boston.
Richard prefers a small town to
a city. The fresh air is . the first
thing he mentions that he likes
better. In Bombay where he was
raised the people are- friendly but
the beggars live in the streets and
they bother people passing by.
Hong Kong was "too crowded"
their grand opening will be on Mother's Day. They plan to keep the
cafeteria style of service and will add Chinese food to the print
menu once the necessary equipment is installed.

he says, but the poor do not live in
the streets as they do in Bombay.
They live in a ghetto on t hilltop
overlooking the city.
Gloria likes the clothes and the
flowers in Canada and says that,
she looked forward to emigrating
to Canada for a long time before
she came.
Both mention the friendly
attitude of people in a small town.

In Toronto says Richard, people
walk right by and if you say
"hello", they just look at you. In
Lucknow, people say hello as you
meet them on the street and they
may never have met you.
