Debbie Jeffrey of Goderich will again teach on Monday nights next year and Olive Lapp of Wingharn, who taught the club for several years, will be return- ing to instruct the senior skaters on Thursday nights. Activities for the coming seas- on were discussed. At a recent test day in Walkerton, Cathy Chisholm pas- sed the Junior Bronze Free Style and Joan Hamilton the European Dance. Congratulations girls. Last month Cathy Chisholm was in competition at Sarnia and George Dierolf at North Bay. Patti Barger, Cathy Chisholm, George Dierolf and John Barger are attending the Spring Skating School at Vanastra. S, The Lucknow Atom hockey team won 'the the Western Ontario Atom "DD" championship and the consolation in the WOAA Grand Championshipto finish their 1977-78 season in a big way. The team comp ted in 51 games during the regular season winning 31, losing 14, and tying 6. After enjoying a delicious dinner, trophies and gifts were presented. The most valuable player trophy (chosen from. Fleas who move up to Atom next year) was presented to Jamie Humphrey. The Fleas received jacknives from the team management, Gerald Murray and Ross Cayley. The players donated toward a gift to be presented to Gerald and Ross, however the gifts were not available for presentation that evening. Earlier this year, Brian Reavie was voted the most valuable player in the Blyth tournament.
