softball league, defeating Bt. George's
yesterday, 34-22. Nine runs in the first
lontngs started the winners on the
right track. The result was a fore-
gone conclusion as the teams swung
into the game. with St. Peter's grad-
ually out -distancing St. George's. Bert
Medd pltcbed a good game for the
losers, but fielding was weak at times,
largely due, however, to the wet

construction of tile, stone or tim-
ber drains.
The Council of the Municipality of
Colborne, pursuant to the provisions
of The Tile Drainage Act, enacts as
follows:
