Recommends Grains Act extended The National Farmers Union, at a hearing of the Canada Grains Commission held in London on April 11, recommended that the appropriate -section of the Canada Grain Act be proclaimed to extend all of the provisions of the Canada Grain Act to all of Canada. • Blake Sanford, Region 3 Co-or- dinator for the NFU told the hearing today that extension of the Canada Grain Act particularly in grading and licensing of elevators is most urgent for producers in the province of Ontario. Grain producers in Ontario now operate under a hodge-podge of regulations.
