School was open as usual on Tuesday morning, March 28 after the March break but it appeared that even one bus did not return as the St. Augustine bus was late due to mechanical failure. On Wednesday between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Mr. Zettler went to the board office in Dublin and learned how to operate a Video Tape Recorder. On Thursday, lylr. Zettler brough- ai•machine to school and we hope to start making use of it during the month of April. They also visited with Mrs. Gladys Arnold who is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital. Congratulations are ex- tended to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Roulston who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last week. Many people extended their best wishes when open house was, held last Wednesday af- ternoon at the Pinecrest Nursing Home, Lucknow. Mrs. Ron McGuire spent a few days last week visiting with her sister Janice in Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mauer and family of Seaforth visited on Saturday with Mrs. Oscar White. Mrs. Ray Hamilton and Joanne spent a couple of days last week visiting with Mrs. Vera Blackwell, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dayman and family of Fenwick and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Neff of Port Colborne. Mr. and Mrs: David King and Pam of Goderich visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Jack McGuire and family. Mrs. John Fludder, Dawn and Brad of Ripley visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hamilton and family.
