Mary Luanne Clare, R. R. 1 Dungannon, [centre], was the top winner in the United Nations Pilgrimage
for Youth public speaking contest held at Clinton recently. Jane Allen [right] of Clinton was the
runner-up. The contest, sponsored by the Oddfellows District 8 and Rebekahs District 23, allows the.
winner to spend 10 days as':an observer at the United Nations.Dave McCutcheon of Brussels, the district
Deputy Grand Master and chairman of the contest, congratulated the girls for their efforts.

Fleas
trounce
mothers
A few bumps, bruises and -sore
muscles were felt Sunday after
the" mothers and sisters of the
Lucknow Meat Hockey team
formed a team to play the Fleas in
a contest Saturday night which
ended in the Fleas' favour with' a
score of 2-0."A home-made trophy
was presented to Flea goalie, Bri-
an Reavie. The cup was filled with
Easter candy and each mother
and sister was given a candy, for
being such good sports. Gary
Sutton minded net for the
mothers and sisters.
