Tickets will be available soon from the executive. Mrs. Sally Campeau reported that a library pack of Pro -Life literature was sent to Seaforth District High School at the request of Mr. Bruce Shaw, principal. Mr. Wooden, principal of South Huron District • High School, requested that he and some teachers of his high school may preview some pro-life audio - .visual material. Connie Osborne, Education Chairman of Goderich and Sally Campeau will make this presentation, the date to be determined later. Mrs. Campeau has sent a letter. to the Hon. Keith Norton, Minister -of Community and Social Services, to urge that ministry to provide funds to the , Huron County Children's Aid Society to allow their child abuse Forcigram to continue. It had been' stated in the December 3rd issue of the London Free .Press that "an education program; credited for placing more abused children under the protection of the Huron County' Family and Children's Service, • has been cut because the .province was not prepared to provide an additional $20,000". Mr. J. K. Macdonald, Director of Child Welfare responded by saying that _our concern was appreciated and that the ministry is hopeful that a substantial .grant will soon - be provided for this purpose in Huron County and throughout Ontario. Southport, Goderich, Kincard- ine, Walkerton, and possibly Owen Sound pro-life groups will assist Wingham Voice for Life in manning their.. Information Booth at the International Plowing Match near, Wingham in Septem- ber. Plans for the pro-life float to be entered in the daily parade are nearly completed. Our new slide and tape presentation "In the Beginning" has arrived and is ready for use. It is an excellent program for the elementary school level. Sally urged members to con- tinue to "love life" and to visit and• help •the lonely, the elderly, the distressed, and the needy, especially in the Lenton season. in addition to the Information Booth at the International Plow- ing Match plans are also being made for a Food Booth. Mrs..
