Wallace . Houston, wlio had
been visiting in Lucknow with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs, Harvey.
Houston, since January 18th, left
Toronto. Friday, February 10th,
for Argentina, South America. He
is in the employ of Northway
Survey Ltd., Toronto, and they
travel in the company plane. They
will be as far south of the
Equator, as we are north, here in
Lucknow, on the east side of the
most southly part of Argentina.

-The Lucknow Fire Department
answered a call to the home of
Carl Weber in Whitechurch -
around 11.00 a.m. on Friday. A
fire caused by an overheated
wood' stove in the kitchen.
extensively damaged the upper
storey of the house.

A. J. Wilson, Lucknow, had the
fingers of his left hand seriously
cut when they were caught in an
auger while loading grain into a
truck.

Doug Raynard, R. R. 3
Lucknow, injured his left arm
when his clothing becamecaught
in, the drive shaft of, a manure
spreader on Wednesday, Febru-
ary .8. The accident occurred on
the Raynard farm and he was
taken to Wingham and District
Hospital.

, Mrs. Peter Campbell, Luck -
now, fell and broke her hip on
Friday, February. 10.

night with Karen and Liane

ing and `snowmobile party with
them on Saturday, held at the
farm of Jim Springer.
Mr. and Mrs. Len .Coughlin,
Kim, and Karey visited with; Mr.
and Mrs. Clifford Young Saturday
evening.
The students of Kinloss Central
School „ at Holyrooi plan to
celebrate Valentine's day with a
skating party in the Lucknow
arena on Tuesday afternoon.

bowling on Saturday.

gomery were recent visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Clark at Mount
Brydges.
