Order -in -Council dated the 21st day df December, 1977, The Honourable Mr. Justice Horace Krever was appointed pursuant to The 'Public Inquiries Act, 1971, to: 1. review all legislation administered by the . Minister of Health (for example, The. Public Hospitals Act, The Health Disciplines Act, The Healthinsurance Act and The Mental Health Act), together with any other relevant legislation administered by other Ministers,' and any Regulations passed thereunder, to determine whether proper. protection is - given to the rights of persons who have received, or who may receive, health services, to preserve the confidentiality of information respecting them collected under that legislation; - 2. to review the legality of the administrative processes under the above Acts; and 3. to report thereon to the Minister of Health with any recommendations for necessary° amendments to the legislation and the Regulations passed thereunder. NOTICE OF HEARING The first session of the Commission will be convened on Monday, the -20th day of February, 1978, at the hour of 10:00 o'clock in the forenoon, at the Sutton 'Place, Hotei,'955 Bay Street at ' Wellesley, Toronto, Ontario, for the purpose of establishing procedures and granting status to interested individuals and organizations. Any- one intending.to participate in the Commission's hearings is invited to attend and may. make submissions at the above noted. time. The dates, times and places of public hear- ings will be announced at a later time. The junior skaters will be presenting "Disney On Ice" in the club carnival, `Ice Review" on. Sunday, February 26 at 1.15 p.m. in the Lucknow Mena. L.ucknow.»Figure Skating The Lucknow Skating Club is.. busy, practicing for -their carnival, - which is to be . held Sunday,. February 26 at 1.15 pan. The theme for the carnival is Ice Review, featuring the Juniors , in Disney on Ice; Intermediates, You're a• Good Man Charlie Brown; and Seniors, South Pacif- ic. We have great variety and the costume committee is working hard to get everyone outfitted. Advance tickets are on sale. They can be obtained from any of the skaters or from the executive. Hope to see you there. Two. of our skaters who also skate with the Goderich Club competed • in a Club Competition there on Saturday. Patti Barger won a. Bronze Medal in the Senior Open Free Skate Division. Con- gratulations Patti. Unfortunately Cathy Chisholm was injured in practice and was unable to compete. Sorry to hear this Cathy. Rope_ your ankle is soon better. • The Juniors have been working hard at their badge work, those passing are: • Beginners: Jeffrey Ackert, Sherri Hodge. Stroking: Shawn Thompson, Shawn Hackett, Lisa Barger, Lisa Collyer, Charlene Conley. Elementary: Leisa Rau. The senior skaters are also practicing. for Interclub Compe- tition in Goderich March 5 and upcoming test days. Juveniles Lucknow Juveniles journeyed to Milverton ,for the first game of a _best of 5 series for the W.O.A.A. championship and bombed the -opposition 11-5. Point collectors were Mark Frayne'6 goals, one assist; Jim Van Osch 2 goals . and three assists; Grant Gilchrist 1 goal, .1 assist; Steve Hamilton 1 goal, 1 assist; Roddie Simpson 1 goal, Tommy Sinnett 5 assists and Paddie Murray with 1 assist. The second game will be played here on Tuesday, February 14th and' the third game on Sunday, February 19th at 3.45 6.m. A Skate-a-thon is being plan- ned for the March break so be watching for the sponsor sheets. A,Iidg.iT.t hockey On Sunday, February 12, Milverton tied the best of 5 series at one game a piece with a 5-4 victory with a goal with 1 minute to go. Milverton capitalized on Lucknow's puck -giving away problems for their victory. Luck - now outshot Milverton, on a 2.1 ratio, but costly penalties late in the game effected their come- back. Next game is in Lucknow Monday, February 20. at 8.30. Goal scorers for -Lucknow were Steve MacPherson, Kevin Clark, Don Elliott, Dan Londry. Assists went to Brad Humphrey, Steve Simpson, Steve MacPherson. Bantam Hockey On Monday, February 6 Luck - now Bantams started playoffs with Milverton for the "DD" Western Ontario Championship. The boys lost a 6-3 lead and the game ended 7-6 in favour of Milverton. Scoring for Lucknow' were Brian Taylor and Allan Rivett with 2 each. Glen Raynard and Ed Davidson each scored once. The assists went to Allan Rivett 3, Kent Alton 2, David Gibson, Allan Eadie, Paul Finlay, Lance Sanderson and David Pritchard 1 each. On Thursday, February 9 the boys returned to Milverton and due to some bad luck lost 5-4. Scoring for Lucknow were Kent Alton with 2, Ed Davidson and Paul Finlay each dented the net once. Assists went to Allen Rivett 3, Lance Sanderson, Brian Taylor, Allan Eadie, ' Mike Humphrey each with one.
