Fourteen Tweenies were enrolled in Brownies at the First Lucknow

of the McCormick Home, London,

London, in her 77th year. Wife of
the late Douglas B. Carnochan
(1967). Survived by several cous-
ins. The funeral service was held
in the Needham Memorial Chap-
el, 520 Dundas Street, London on,
Friday, February 3rd. Pastor R.

Mrs. Roy Collins is hostess for
the A.C.W. meeting at her home
(weather permitting) on Thurs-
day, February 9th, starting at 12
noon with a pot luncheon. Conve-
ners are Mrs. Howard Thompson
and Mrs, Eric Thacker. The
theme is "Love". The roll call.will
be answered with "A place Jesus
visited". Mrs. Gertrude Walsh
has the meditation and Mrs.
Gerald Rhody the scripture.
Mrs. Campbell Brown returned
to -;her home at Strathroy on
Sunday after visiting with her
brother Hugh Lane and . other
family members.
Mr. Gordon Kurt returned
home from St. Joseph's Hospital,
London where he had been a
patient.
At the Women's Institute card
party on Tuesday evening 5 tables
were in play and a most sociable
time enjoyed. The ladies' high
prize went to Mrs. Lorne Eadie,
and the high gent, Cliff Johnston.
Mrs., ,Marion Harris won the
• evenings lucky prize. The next
cardo, party . will be a St.
Valentine party , on Tuesday,
February 14th. Everyone is
invited to attend.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Boyle of
Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and
Mrs. Gordon Wright of Clifford
visited with _. Misses Edna and
May ' Boyle on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. .Fred ' Guest,
David and Pauleen held a family
gathering on • Sunday, Those

able to return to her home from
the hospital on the weekend.

will be pleased to know that ' she
has been transferred from Owen
Sound , Hospital to Kincardine
Hospital. She, is coming along
nicely and hopes to be home soon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron McGuire and
Christopher visited with Mr. and
Mrs. Doug Henry and Ted of
Goderich on Sunday.
Mrs. Jack McGuire received a
letter on Saturday from her family
in New Zealand saying they had
the pleasure of Mr. Jim ' Black,
son , of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Black, to visit there. Jim has been
in New Zealand for the past two
months and is planning ' on
leaving soon for Australia. Re-
ports were , they are having
beautiful summer weather around
70-75 degrees.
Miss Nancy McGuire of London
visited with her family, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack .McGuire for . the
weekend. •
