Sincer'e sympathy of this com-
munity is extended to Mr. and
Mrs. Delbert Maize and family. on
the death of his father, Mr. Bert
Mai2e who passed away , at
Huronview, Clinton on Saturday,.
January. 28. His body rested at
the Stiles Funeral Home in
Goderich wher`~fiuneralr services
were held on Tuesday, January
31st at 3:30 p.m. Interment was in
the Dungannon Mausoleum.
Students attending the differ-
ent schools in this area were
returned home on . Thursday
morning, January 26 because of
the stormy weather conditions
around us. We, at Kingsbridge,
were fortunate to miss the storm
on. Thursday but .the winds blew
in all its fury later that evening
and all day Friday, causing
visibility to be nil. Schools were
again cancelled on Friday.
Mrs., Marvin Scott and Mrs.
Steven Andrew attended the
Special Leader's 4-11 Training,
School for the Homemaking
project "Focus' on Living" held at
the Wesley -Willis United Church
in Clinton on Saturday, January.
14 and•'Saturday, January 21 from
10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. A
special welcome is given to the
new 4-H leader, Mrs. Andrew,
the former Anne VanDiepenbeek.
Mrs. Jack VanOsch was admit-
ted to the Wingham and District
Hospital on Monday, January 23.
Her many friends in this area.
wish her a speedy recovery.
Several of the youth from this
area attended a dance held at St.
Peter's Parish Hall in Goderich on
Saturday, January 28 sponsored
by the Goderich Youth Club.
Plans are being made' for the
Kingsbridge Catholic Women's
League monthly meeting to ° be
held in the Kingsbridge Parish
Hall on Monday : afternoon, ,Feb-
ruary 6 beginning at 1 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. William . Berry,
Senior moved tin 'Monday, Janu-
ary 30 from the house they -were
renting from Brown . and Parker
on the 7th concession of Ashfield
Township (the former Tom How-
ard
house) to their trailer home in
Dungannon.
Congratulations to Mr. • and '
Mrs. Peter J. Vogt who celebrat-
ed their 25th wedding anniver-
sary on Tuesday, -January 17th.
They visited with their daughter
Susy in Livonia, Michigan and
with her sisters Lillian and Mary
