OBITUARY
Mr. Thomas Henry Irvine
Hackett passed away on January
12th, 1978 at Pinecrest Manor
Nursing Home, . Lucknow in his
90th year. He was the son of
Eliza Jane. Henry and Josep.h.
Hackett. He was born in Ashfield
Township on July 16th, 1888.
On September 10th, 1919 he
married Catherine Irene Irwin
and lived all his life on the 12th
concession of Ashfield Township.
He is survivedby one daught-
er, Irlmac, Mrs. Midford.
Culross Township., three sons;
There passed away in St.
Joseph's Hospital, London, on
Saturday, January 14, Reta
(Rutledge) Leitch of 1201 Rich-
mond Street, London.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Herbert Leitch, dear mother
of Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Thom -
Mrs. Isabelle :Moore, widow of
the late John Moore, passed away
• in Anaheim, California on Decem
ber, 19, 1977.
Born May 2, 1885, she was the
former Isabelle 'MacKenzie,
• daughter of the late, John• D.
MacKenzie and Mary Stewart.
Her late husband was a native of
Nelson ,Culbert of West Wawa -
nosh Township died in Wingham
and District Hospital on Saturday,
January 14, .1978 in his 74th year.
A member of the Dungannon
L.O.L. 324 and the Dungannon
United Church, he had farmed all
his life.
He was born in •Ashfield
Township on August 7, 1904, the
son of the late Thomas Culbert of
Pickering and the late Elizabeth
Wraith of Kinloss. He married
Blanche Caldwell of West Wawa -
nosh in Dungannon in 1929,
Besides his wife he is survived

He was predeceased by two

two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Erring-
ton, Dungannon and Mrs. Melin-
da Nivins, Clinton, and one
brother, Llewellyn of Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. Fourteen grandchild-
ren and one great grandchil so
survive.
He, was predeceased by a
daughter, Bernice in 1942, two

Service was held on Saturday,
January' 14 at MacKenzie and
• McCreath Funeral Home, Luck -
now, Rev. A. Cook of Trinity
United Church officiating.
Pallbearers were Arnold Stoth-
ers, Bill Hunter, Eldon Ritchie,
Allan Ritchie, Jim Huntei, Bob
Irwin.
Three grandchildren Brian and
Aaron Hackett and Donald. Wall
acted as flower bearers. •
Temporary entombment follow-
ed in South KinlosS Mausoleum.

funeral service was conducted on

a.m. with Canon Peach of St.
Luke's Anglican Churth officiat-
ing. Interment was in Vineland
Cemetery, Vineland, Ontario.

Edgar Carr, Gedrge Errington,
$indJenson Errington.
Flower bearers were , two
• grandsons, Ronald Mason and
Donald Huston. Burial followed in
Dungannon Cemetery.
