On Sunday, January "15, Port
Elgin came to Lucknow' and took
home a 7-4 win, Goal scorers for
Lucknow were Jim Murray frotn.

TOURNAMENT ACTION
This past weekend saw the
annual Milverton Intermediate
Hockey Tournament and as usual
the competition was pretty tough.
Teams from Leamington, Wheat-
ley, Stirling, Harriston,St. Clem-
ents, Watford, Milverton and
Lucknow Vied for the top honours..
The first game saw Harriston
win over Milvertonin a hard
fought battle that ended' with a
5-2 score.
• The second game was a 4-3
decision with Watford coining out
on top of Lucknow. Goal scorers
for Lucknow were Mark Chisholm
from Carl Stanley, Lynn Arm-
strong unassisted and .Graham
Hamilton from rLynn Armstrong.
The third game saw Learning -1
ton outlast Stirling 3-2. The fourths
and last game of . the first found

The second round began with
Milverton taking a 5-3 decision
over Lucknow,oal scorers for
Lucknow were John Emberlin
from 'Jim Murray and Graham

Paul Frayne.
The second game of the round
saw Harriston take Watford 4-1,
and the third game saw Stirling
over St. Clements with a score of
3-2. The fourth and last game of
the round saw Leamington lose to
Wheatley.
This left the championship
games for Sunday with Harriston
and Wheatley, going for the
trophy, and Milverton and Stirl-
ing competing for the consolation
prize.
Special- mention to showdown
specialists goaltender Terry Tay-
lor, and centre, Dave 'MacKin-
non. Although they didn't win
any prizes, they did make a good
showing.
Next home game is Sunday,
January 29 against the Goderich
Sailors.
Juveniles end winning streak
Lucknow ,Juveniles extended
winning streak ended when they
were defeated Sunday, January
22 by Kincardine 7-5. This game
was perhaps the fastest skating
game of the yearwith a lot of ,
chippyplay and as the final.. '
buzzer sounded a small fight
involving all players ,of both
teams broke out. After the debri
was cleared, Kincardine came up
with' the majority' of ' major
penalties.
