Lancers lead Local girl plays
Senior B league with Hawks
After a 5 to ; victory over Mildmay on Sunday, the
Lucknow Lancers lead the WOAA Senior 13 league.
While Adam Skillern took care o1 nctminding duties,
Lancer players Justin Murray (2). Donnie ('ullcrier,
Dale Priestap and Darin Lindsay collected goals alter
being set up by Lindsay, Brad Murray (2), Duane Porter,
Chris Irwin. Brad Priestap, Kytc Wheeler. Clint Murray
and Mark Bakker.
Atom B 2 vs B1
The two Lucknow Atom B teams met and played to a
three all tie on Sunday. The B I 's took a three goal lead
int() the third but couldn't hold on as 132's stormed hack
with three.
Goals: B2's: James Mann (2), Preston Drennan.
Assists: Cal. McDonagh (2), Laura Stanley and Daniel
Drennan.
Goals: 131's: Derek Quinlan, David Conley. Candice
Hamilton. Assists: Quinlan (2), Lori Blake and Erin

Pee Wee A
Hosting Mount Forest on Nov. 25. the Lucknow Pee
Wee A team sent them home with a 7 to 3 loss. The
game was tied at two after one period, Lucknow chalked
up three more in the second and two more in the third to
Mount Forest's one goal.
Goals: Wyatt Kwan and Russ Mann two each, Bob
Raymond, Ricky Andrew and Brian Stanley. Assists:
Kwan and Mann two each. Raymond (3), and Andrew.
The Wingham Pee Wee
Hawks participated in the
Sarnia Spitfires Micro -
Sport Girls Tournament on
the weekend.
They won close games
to advance to the champi-
onship round against
Sarnia on Sunday. After
regulation time, the game
was tied at one. After five
minute of overtime the
score remained tied.
Under tournament rules,
the next procedure was a
shootout using each of the
14 players on both teams
and three more shooters
from the roster, Sarnia
scored to win the game.
Wingham brought
home the silver medal
which was well deserved
after a weekend of dedi-
cated sportsmanship.
Darlene Aitchison of
Lucknow is one of the
players on the team.
Murray nets six
Novice A
Joe Murray collected three of the six goals the
Novice A's pumped into Teeswater's net when they
played in town on Nov. 26. Blake Alton, Cory Hamilton
and Devin Kemp claimed the other goals. Murray
picked up two assists, Stuart Eadie and Blake Alton
claimed singles.
An outstanding performance from the whole team
kept Clifford from scoring any goals giving Mike
Hoggart a shutout on Nov. 28.
Goals: Cory Hamilton (4), Blake Alton and Joe
Murray three each. Devin Kemp (2) and Kyle Shepherd.
Assists: Darius Mali, Cody Hamilton, Cory Hamilton
(4), Alton and Kemp two each, Hoggart and Murray.
Students prepare for Christmas

Yeah'. Soon it will be
Christina's! Everyone in
school is getting ready for
our Christmas program
which is to be on
Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 8
p.m. The whole school
gets together in the gym to
learn the songs.
The children are look-
ing forward to their
Christmas break and the
teachers are hbisy getting
the last of the marks ready
for our report cards.
In the Grade 1 and 2
classroom, Mrs. Bakker is
teaching all about mam-
mals from their animal
unit. In art class the stu-
dents are working on hon
masks --scary!!
The Grade 3 class has
just finished their leat' pro-
jects and they all turned
out well. They displayed
them in the hall for .every-
one'to see.
