Christopher was killed in
Pennsylvania as the
result of a car accident.
He worked as a welder.

attended visitation and
funeral in Port Elgin.

The first euchre tour-
nament of the fall season
of Dungannon
Agriculture Society, was
Nov. 2.
First and second prize
was shared, as a result of
a tie Janet Mathers and
Mabel Wheeler, Jim and
Margaret Errington.
Third prize was won by
Jewel Plunkett and
Eileen Haggitt.
A three-week northern
Ontario autumn color
tour was enjoyed by Ann
and Gilbert Millar and
her sister Maisie and Ian
Taylor from Scotland.

Service at Dungannon
United Church on
Sunday, November 3.
Text of the Sunday
School Pupils, was the
Great Banquet, found in
the book of Luke. To
summarize their lesson,
the congregation was
invited to the Feast. A
song and dance routine
preceded the serving of a
cold drink and cookie.
A large crowd enjoyed
the roast beef dinner
served by the board of
stewards in the evening.
Val Wood has been
appointed as secretary for
the Dungannon Union
Pastoral Charge.
Visiting Mary and Phil
Garriock on Sunday were
her parents Bruce and
Irene Fisher and sister-in-
law Linda from
Camlachie.
They, along with eight
of their grandchildren
were a great boost to the
attendance at the beef
supper. Two of the grand-
children played ringette
with a team from Forest
against Goderich on
Sunday afternoon.
Bridgs mark
50th a
Congratulations from
all the Grove folks to
Viola and Eugene Bridge
on the celebration of
their 50th anniversary. A
good number from the
Grove attended their
came and go tea in
Kincardine on Saturday.
Two other milestones
were marked on the.
weekend - an 80th birth-
day celebration was held
for Jim Boyle at
Whitechurch. Attending
were his brother Francis
and Irene, as well as
Heather and Gabrielle
Finnie; Marjorie
Armstrong and Edna
Fowler, his sisters.

MacDonald were please
to attend Bob Campbell's
80th birthday celebration
in Lucknow ori Sunday.
A little bird also told
me that Dan MacDonald
is celebrating a birthday
this week.
Congratulations to all of
you.
Everyone we have
talked to said that the
Halloween party at the
Community Centre on
Thursday night was very
successful. The children
enjoyed the games, story,
costume parade and
treats.
