last week.
As a high school student, I was
never sports minded and so really never
paid much attention to the cheerleaders.
This sport is truly ,a team effort
based on trust and support (in many
ways).

may have noticedwhat appeared to be an old
dismantled' steam anchored at the north side f the .=
harbor.. This boat was recently sold to the Japanese
Government and it will presently set out upon the
long tip from Goderich to the Orient. It will be taken
to Port Colborne and loaded with grain fore the
Japanese market and thus will be made to pay its way
across the Parcific.

Barber prices advanced here on Monday-
Effective on Monday of this . week, local bar-
bers adopted a new scale of prices, by which
barber shop patrons will now pay a bit higher fees for
insorial service. Adult hair, cuts now cost 40 cents
and children's 30 cents.
The new prices, authorized by the Wartime Prices
and Trade Board, apply to the Wingham zone includ-
ing the five centres of _ Lucknow, Wingham,
Teeswater, Blyth and Brussels,

departments., Pine River: Cheese has been a land-
mark in this area since °1555 and employs 12 people;
and had been manufacturing. 7,000 to 8,000 pounds
of cheese per day.
