Kinettes plan busy max;
will host zone conference
The Lucknow and District Kinettes
are looking forward to busy year.
Since meetings resumed in
September, the Kinettes have helped
the Kinsmen with the Wild Game night
and sponsored a terrific kids' show
"Rock 'n Fables" at the town hall.
The Cystic Fibrosis toll booth took
place on Oct. 4 with a profit of
$ 1025.46 being realized We are very
grateful to the public for their contin-
ued support.
Some of the plans underway are for
a Halloween party for kids on Oct. 26
at Morrison Berries Country .Market
and the .Clfristmas • Bazaar at the
Lucknow Sentinel, Wednesday, October 23,190 -- Page 15
Lucknow Legion on Nov. 30.
Two major events in the spring will
be hosting Zone Conference on Mar, 24
and Much Music Video Dance for ages
19 and over on Apr. 5 at the
Community Centre.
Presently, there are 18 Kinettes. New
members are very welcome. Meetings
are held •on the third Tuesday of every
month. Any women, age 21 or over,
who enjoys helping the community and
meeting new people, as well as having
a chance to develop leadership skills,
should come, out to a meeting.
