We extend congratulations to Mr, and Mrs. Allan
Hodgins who were "waffled on Saturday afternoon.
Family and friends from here attended the wedding
in Port Elgin and the dinner and reception at
Underwood hall
Eric Thacker had his wrist cast changed at
London on Monday.
The Rev. Wib. Dawson of the Bible Sue' iety paid
his annual visit here and the meeting was in the,
Presbyterian Church on Tuesday evening. He talked
on the work of the Bible Society and showed a
..tfiideo on Ethiopia.
Tara Thacker 4:4 Guelph University spent the
weekend at her home here, Her brother Lucas
Thacker who was in the Kincardine and District
Hospital was able to return home and is now a bed
patient for a period of time. We wish him a good
recovery.
A very pleasant day Was held on Oct., 6 at the
Anglican 'Church when a day of celebration was
held m honor of Edna_ and May Boyle's birthdays

held their Resolutions
meeting on Wednesday
evening with Norma
Rintoul as the convener.
President Jean, Ross
opened the meeting and
read a Thanksgiving
oem, Helen Currie gave
an excellent report from
the area convention held
° at Repivorth. The rollcall
was answered by naming
"a resolution. I have
made.".
Norma Rintoul read a
Thanksgiving poem and
• introduced. the guest
speaker Sharon Good
from the Auburn area.
She spoke about her
hobby and demonstrated -
how to paint on cream
cans and stendil on -
wood, etc. - •

were held by. Sharon
Good and Evelyn Gibb
with them winning the
prize.
