Dianne Clifford and family attended the MacKenzie Family Picnic on Saturday. Good to have Isabel Brooks ;home from her trip to Timriiins where she visited with her daughter, Barbara and family. Spencer and'randon Finnie, are holidaying with their Grannie and Grandad Finnie at iDunville. Gabrielle spent a couple 'of days last week with the Louthers of Walkerton. Joyce and , Jim McEwan, Jeae and Margaret White of Kincardine visited with Gladys, Arnold. Get well wishes are. being sent, to Cecil Dore who is still in Wingham: Hospital. Lauraine and Frank, Burgstaller .of Barrie, wis ited with Wilda and Harvey Thompson on the weekend, They were din- ner .guests. of Donna and Fred Young of Dungannon,. Sunday. Tammy Cunliffe of Kitchener visited with her grandparents, Wilda and Harvey Thompson and Myrtle MacDonald of Kincardine. Harvey Thompson visited with his sister, olive Irwin of Lucknow. Nina and Edbert Bushell entertained Anne McCosh and Mary Anne Monday night and Marjorie Thompson and Marion Gamble Saturday night. It's nice to hear that Marie and Allan Coning had a good trip to the west and are home safely. • A good number from the Grove enjoyed the Garden Party held. at Bervie Tuesday, the Fireman's Breakfast Saturday. and Lion's Barbecue Sunday. Thecultural bus trip to Blyth was a. ,booming success, enjoyed .by all. The surprise visit with Joyce and John Farrell and family on Culross Township was an added bonus. Sunday evening the WOLPA (lamb pro- ducers) served an excel- lent lamb meal at Belxnore. Bette MacLeod visited with her friend Evelyn Smith of Srnithville. Both ladies enjoyed a five day bus tour of the Thousand Islands. One 'of their stops was the Hill Island ,Lodge and there they climbed the Star Deck Tower, An interesting cruise was the three hour tour of the Islands. The 50th wedding anniversary celebration of Winnie and Stuart MacDonald of London was held on Sunday at the Ripley Legion, Gladys Arnold attended the Geddes family picnic held at Judy and ,Bill Geddes. Katherine • Collins, Marjorie Thompson, Isabel Brooks, and Marjorie Reid visited last week in Kincardine. Sympathy" .to Marilyn Reid on the death of her uncle Harold Gaunt. The Sodbusters 4-H practice and a BBQ sup- per was held at the farm of Murray Wilson. Heather and Grant Clifford attended the Mud Volleyball Tournament near Kimberly on the weekend. John and Corinne Luther of Walkerton were blessed with the safe arrival of their third son on Sunday. Big brothers Bo and Colton are looking forward to welcoming Chase home.
