Reds' eighth win in regu- lar scheduled play. Lucknow's offence scored four in the first, seven in the second and one in the fourth on six hits and four walks. Mitchell's pitchers struck out six Lucknow batters over six innings. The Red's pitching staff issued seven walks, struck out four and allowed five hits. With only one home game and three away games remaining the team is gearing up for the OBA qualifier and WOBA championship tournaments in the month of August. Minn Ticats The Lucknow Ticats played an excellent _soc- cer game when _they host- ed the Clinton Blues on July 9. Learning to eat healthy The third meeting of the Whitechurch 4-H was held July 2, with the topic "Healthy Snacks - What would you have instead of junk food?" The group made quick fix muffins and pizza bagels. For a home . project they had to either choose to make fruit shakes, .yogurt juiceilies, veggie dips or fruit dip. They also learned about healthy lunches and choices for sandwich filings and a food guide for every day living. Fred and Judy parry of Bright spent a couple of days with George and Betty Armstrong., Wayne Farrier of Guelph visited last week- end with Agnes Farrier.. Olive Gillespie of Sarnia was also a visitor there.
