Driver' eludes police Police were called off a high speed pursuit that started in Lucknow and ended in the Amberley area on the weekend. OPP were on patrol in Lucknow at 2:55 a.m., July 13 and attempted to stop a light colored, 1970 Chev Camaro, It was a "routine . stop," said Constable Andy Burgess of the Kincardine OPP. The vehicle turned west on.,Highway 8:6 from Huron ,Road • 1 and was pursued by police at speeds exceeding 160 krnh. The vehicle turned onto Concession 12 - 13, Ashfield Township. It ran. several stop signs and was last seen heading north on Highway 21•. The pursuit was called off by an OPP radio operator in ,Mount Forest. The Camaro matches the description of several driving complaints (squealing tires) police have received , from • Lucknow residents.
