The league includes T -ball, under the direction of Valerie Wood in Dungannon, and Steve MacPherson in Lucknow. In the six, seven and eight year old category, Lucknow had three teams coached by Gord Kemp, Ray Guay and Steve Claminey; Dungannon by G. Andress and the two teams at Kingsbridge coached by Shawn and Laurie Dalton, This group plays Wednesday evenings at 7p;m. Lucknow home games are at the two diamonds at the Lucknow public school, Dungannon plays on the back diamond there, and Kingsbridge leagues play at St. Joseph's school. . Dave Black, rec co-ordinator, says because of the number of players. in the nine and 10 year old catego- ry, a new division has been formed. Lucknow has two teams that will play Friday evenings at Caledonia Park. Paul Hamilton, Ron Elliott and Steve Mann will work with this group. At this time, the teams have not been set ,for Dungannon, Port Albert or Kingsbridge. Iii the 11 to 15 age group, Lucknow has two teams, Dungannon one under the leadership of Wayne Wilson, Port Albert led. by Elaine. Fielder and Kingsbridge coached by Paul Dalton. These teams play Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.: Kingsbridge at St. Joseph's, Port Albert in that hamlet, Dungannon at the back diamond, and Lucknow at the Caledonia Park. •a.$tbal1: tourney in Mitchell' The 1996 Ontario Junior Men's Elimination fastball tournament takes place in Mitchell this weekend, July, 5 to 7. Games get underway at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, with games all day Saturday as well. The final is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday. Thirty-one teams will compete, with the majori- ty of games taking place at Mitchell's Keterson Park on Wellington Street. The Oshawa Juveniles are the defending cham- pions, with Oshawa Juniors runners-up Last year. The top two teams this year will advance to the Canadian Nationals Newfoundland in August.
