May 29 meeting at the

enjoyed a pbt luck dinner
at noon. The ladies of
Chalmers W S .were
invited -to the event as
well. A speciguest was
Dr. Mae Kolrttniyana of
Vancouver, B.C.
The theme for. the
meeting was creation and
recreation. Agnes Farrier
extended greetings, arnd `a
sing -a -long was enjoyed.
Alice Moore read a poem
on spring.
Scripture was from
Psalm 653'and was read
in unison.
Mildred McClenaghan
introduced' Dr.
Komiyana. The ladies
had trained t .,gether at
Guelph General Hospital.
Mae m.;rried a United
Church minister , and
attained her Doctor of
Divinity ani became a
great church worker. She
started her nurses train-
ing at Vancouver hospi-
tal.
Mae and Mildred
attended the 50th alumni
dinnerheld in Guelph
last, week. Ten out of a
class of 16 were in atten-
dance. ,
There were 216, gradu
ates at Guelph in all for
the weekend.
The Whitechurch hall
board held a shoot party
on Monday evening.
