Martindale said the bal-
ance between teachers

improve, we have a dis-
tinct problem," be said.
Bastian declined to
discuss -possible options,
but predicted continued
negotiations will be sue-
cessfuk
"I'm optimistic we can
come up with something.
It's worked so far," she
said.
