Mont omerv,2s book Anne of Green Gables is what they are preview- ing. During this ..study they will bd creating per- sonal response journals: doing character studies. and author appreciation activities. The Grade 11 in Mrs., Bell's class are enjoying the books written by Mercer Mayer. They are doing Many language activities based on Little Critters adventures. One of the special centres is W using the CD ROM and reading along with Little Critter. 'What a fun way ,to share a book. LCPS is preparing for education week which runs from May 6 - 10. The whole -school is. working on the theme of multicultural sm.Comput er, film ; and text resources will be used to help; collect information. Themembersof the junior and senior bands, and the intermediate' choir have started a fundraising campaign, selling cookies. The money raised will bre used to fund the June 13 trip to onderland, where we hope to per- form this year's spring concert. A number of students have been rehearsing s.i:nce.
