I had the opportunity -to attend a seminar on the weekend
for fellow editors and reporters in Our company.
Seminars Can be good or bad. This one I rate on the .
good scale, with informative speakers who had a sense of
humor which helps hold your attention when the mind
wants to wander. his also a time to pick the brains of oth-
ers in your industry, see how they're doing things and in
general come home witha sense of rejuvenation.
•My sense of rejuvenation seemed to be short-lived this
time. I'm blaming that on the fact that I'M a Pig in a Rat
Year, working on my income tax return counting how many
more loonies and bears I have to mail off to the govern-.

Held skating and euchre party - The Seven
Sisters Club ot Ashfield had a very enjoyable evening last
week when they invited their school friends to a skating
party. The party was held at the home of Mr., and Mrs.
Robert Scott. While the children skated, their parents and
older friends played progressive euchre.
Have eight grandparents living - To have eight grand-
parents living is the rather unusual record of Marlene and
Reginald Purdon, age two -years and _six months, and chil—
