N•k.••' , 12R Obituaries ,; J 4 1 MARGARET MCARTHUR GORDON' Margaret McArthur Gordon, of Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, formerly 9f Lucknow, died at Pinecrest on Feb. 10. 1996, et the age of 84. Miss Gorden was born 10 Olasgow, Scotland, on Aug. 19, 1911. She was a legal sec, retary in Scotland before Wird- grating to Canada in the '80s, where she pursued her Career in Toronto. Miss, Gordon's next move brought her to Huron' County where she was the executive assistant to the director of the Huron County Board of Education. In her her country, Miss Gordon was very ,active in church choirs, a pleasure she pursued in Toronto: After Moving to St, Helen's Miss Gorden assisted withbthe church Sunday school choir. During World War 11, she sang for the troops and worked in hospitals. \ Miss Gordon will be missed by her long-time friend, Dorothy McKenzie of R.R. 2, Lucknow, and several nieces and nephews- in Scotland. She was the special "chosen" aunt of the McCrostie family. A memorial service will be held today (Feb. 14) at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, at 1:30 p.m„ with ,Rev..
