This was a close game and with a little more luck, Luck- now ucknow can come out on top of this team. •- Lucknow vs Clifford Lucknow hosted Clifford on December 1, with Tyler Brooks starting in net. In the first period Clifford pressed hard on Lucknow's defense and were able to come out of the fiat period up ihme goals. Lucknow's Eric Andrew netted his second one, assisted by Kevin Rin- toul and Darcy MacDonald. In the third period Lucknow played well adding three more and came close to a tie until Clifford netted two more 10 seconds apart, late in the game. For Lucknow, Eric Andrew was marksman on two, while a single vete to Jeff Porter. Colin Becker, Steve Clarance, and David Adams chalked up assists. The final score was Clifford 9, Lucicnow 7. Lucknow .played well, but couldn't come out on top. J Keir replaced Tyler Brooks part way through the game, after a big pile up in Lucknow's net. Lancers get wings clipped by Dundalk The Lucknow Lancers lost a close one on Sunday night as Dundalk clipped their wings with a 12 - 10 win. Dundalk opened the scoring in the first, but the Lancers came back and held a 4 - 3 advantage after one. Paul Maclntyre, Russel Sutton and Brad Priestap with two, scored for the Lancers. The second period was 'much like the first with .both teams trading goals, The Lancers again came out on top with a 9 - 7 lead, with goals from Steve Simpson with two, Russel Sutton with his second of the night and Brad Priestap picked up one to complete the hat trick. There were no hat tricks in the third and no tricks either as the visitors outscored the Lancers 5 -1, to take a 12 - 10 , win. Grant Gilchrist scored the final Lancer goal late in the third to de the game but Dundalk scored one and put one in an emptylnet to secure the win. The Lancers travel to Teeswater next Friday and Kincardine comes to town next Sunday night for a 7:30 start.
