Agricultural Society holds another sucy ful flea market
The septi -annual indoor fall flea
marker was held 4 the Agricultural
Hall on Saturday, October 20 from
10 am. to 2 pan. There were 22
tables of bargains in the maul ball,.
six vendors in the outer hall and
one brave gentleman who had an
outdoor table. lVlany people came to
talm advantage of the many good
buysthat were to be found= Ven-
dot's came from as far away as
Listowel, Seaforth, Bayfield,
Godei•ach and Vanastra,.as well as
many local vendors. .
The monthly euchre tournament
sponsored by the Dungannon
Agricultural Society was held on
Saturday, October 13 at the
Agricultural Hall. Swift and keen
.competition was .seen 4 all 12
tables'
There Was ai tie for first place.
between. the team of Erman and
Allot Crich and the team of Betty
Cook. and Frank'Todlz,, The teams
decided to split the prize money.

There • was also a tie for third
place betweenthe team of Ruth and
Bill Jenkinsand the team of Loretta
Dohertyand Ann Berry. These two
teams also decided to split the prize
money. •

The low prize went to timpani of
Lynda. McNee and Bernice . Glenn
and the specialcontestt was won -by
Gordon Pollock.
These.' euchre tounaments will
continue to ` run d on the second
Saturday of every month throughout
the winter, months. ' •

Baskets of pude and white
flowers adorned ,the altar of the
l)ungaution Unity Church on
Saturday. October 13th as Michele
Annette Dickson and Randy Bruce
McLeod exchanged. their ,mage
vows dining a candlelight
ceremony. Officiating in the
ceremony were Reverends Oath
and drilla Bogart. Mrs. Jean Elliott
was organist and Steve and Wendy.:
Bogie, cousins of the bride,
provided special wedding nius*..
The bridesmaids looked beautiful in
their deep purple gowns.

A limousine wasawaiting the
bride and groom and took them to
Bingham. Park in ,Goderrch for
pictures and then on to . Saltfucd
Valley Hall for the, wedding supper
and reception.
The newlyweds honeymooned in
the Bahamas and: are now making
their home in Kincardine.

With Hallowe'en falling on Wed-
nesday this year, the seniors have
decided, to have their card party on
the Tuesday, October 39th for
THAT week 'only. Dig out those
costumes and funny faces and come

Ripley plans
arena expansion
The Ripley Huron Arena Expan-
sion Fundraising Committee has
stm'ted plans to raise tnuney, fur an
addition with an expanded lobby
and bigger dressing rooms.
A • goat" of $200,000 must be
reached before the committee will
be eligible for government funding.
A "Buy a Brick" program will be
set
t up in the lobby during the
hockey season. The names of all.
brick purchases will be displayed in
the new lobby.
Charitable donations to : the Addi-
tion will also be accepted at the
pley Royal Bank.
