Lucknow United Church celebrates anniversary
Sunday was the 128th Annirt-
tay service tit the Lucknow United
Church. Fooner minister Warren
McDougall was the plot speaker
the morning service, choosing as
his sermon, "Why I Love the
United Church'. The Swim*
Group prepared the congregation
for worship with their music and
songs, The Damn Parnily„Bev
Keith. Ciadi and 144101, provided
special music during the service and
the choir sang the HaUelujah
Chorus as a fitting Conclasion. In
the evening the theme was "Living
in Harmony' with the Grace United
Church male Quartet of Hanover
leading m an hour of music.
Sympathy is extended to the
Thompeoa family in the passing of
H.D. (Bud) Thompson in University
' Hospital, London, on Sunday.
Larissa Kugler entertained at a
double birthday party on Saturday
for her husband Bob and son Wil-
liam* Aunt Olga O'Sullivan and her
friend Fred and Paul .and Gloria
'Kerr all of London and Roy and
Joan Goldsmith of Sarnia were
Present for the happy occasion.
John and Janet Johnston of Ajax
were home for the weekend with
Gordon and Bernice Johnstone. •

seventh grandchild for Millie and
Charlie Johnston of Nile and the

Park of Ooderich. Ashton is also
the thirtieth great grandchild for
Mrs. Gerrie Park of Maple Grove.

Marion (Waring) , Bonk of
Brantford, passed away suddenly at
her home on October 7, 1990, in
her 68th year, following a brief
illness.
Left to mem her passing are her
husband, Nicholas Bonk, and three
