cigarettes." Upon returning Jim

Lucknow became home in
1964 and following 10 years
with the Co-op, a dream of Jim's
came,. true toown his own
store. I1 was at this time they
purchased the Lanes Store•.from
Matilda Donaldson.
During their five years as store
keepers, the Arnolds suffered a
major fire, but not ones to be put
down, they rebuilt the store on
"the'origina1 site.
In 1976 they sold the stop and
retired to ,Outram Street, Luck
now and this summer moved a
few houses away to Gough
Street.
