The Websters, - Kae,. James and
Cecil spent the weekend in Ohio
with Atlee, Jean and Tricia Wise of
Richfield, Ohio, On. the way home
they toured a bit and had a glimpse
of Niagara Nails. On :Thursday,.
Cecil and: Kae visited in Kincardine
with Gammie at the Malcom Rouse
and inthe evening Kae and Cecil
went to Goderich and visited with
their Aunt Norma Young, who at
present is a patient in the Goderich

men's Reunion.; He takes part each
year in the parade.' Finialay's son,
George of Kincardine, was also
there 'helping his dad inthe

the tinvestiget ion of mischief, which
occurred on Concession 12 of Brant
Township, near Elmwood,
The Walkerton Detachment of the
Ontario Provincial Police report that
on two separate occasions damage
has occurred at a bridge construc-
tion.site,on Concession 12 of Brant
Township. The first occurrence was
during the evening of July 28th, e
Saturday. On ' this occasion
unknown person(s) pried a chain
and lock o of a construction trailer
at the site. Once inside the
culprit(s) removed. a STIH.L chain
saw oda STIIHL cut off saw. Also
the cull rrit(s) sprayed green and
orange paint throughout the trailer.
The second occurrence happened
on August 1 1th, a Saturday, during
this . occurrence , the culprits)
smashed windows of a front - end
loader, smashed the gauges and..
filters,
The value of the damage done in
both of these occurrences was in
excess of $3,000.
The persons responsible have not
been identified as yet.

McConnell gave the Bible Study
beginning' with . response reading
from the Book of Praise on Harvest -
end her recollections of her most
memorable harvest story, that of
Naomi. She closed her study with
an ancient prayer of thanksgiving.
Prayer circle included Marg Col-
lyer, Doris MacKinnon and .Olive
Needham. The offering was col-
lected. and offertory .prayer heard
from Mary Lavis. Hymn, We Praise
Thee, Oh God, was sung.
Nancy MacIntyre introduced the
guest speaker 1. nne MacDonald,
who shared . her life experiences
with the group. It was a wonderful
ly inspirational life she depleted as
she told of her luny Tears in
'various volunteer positions in social
agencies in Nashville. Tennessee.
Marilyn McIntyre thanked
„Marianne on behalf of the group
and presented a small' token of
appreciation to her.
Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee,.
was sung as> a final hymn. Cour-
tesies° were given by Nancy MacIn-
tyre, and responded to by Marion
Campbell. Vera Schmidt led in
closing prayer.
Grace was sung before a bountiful
lunch served by Hostess and Direc-
tors.
The next meeting will be held
Oct. 2, 7:30. The Thankoffering
will be hosted by Margaret Keith at
the church.

and Maigrets will be outwitting and
outmanoeuvring one another to
reveal who has the cleverest, shar-
