To the editor:
This Sunday,, September 16, is the
annual Terry Fox Run. Thousands
of Canadians -will give a few hours
of their time to gather sponsors and
walk, run, cycle or somehow make
theirway around a number of court;
ses at locations across the country.
Everyone comes in contact with a
person(s) at some stage in�their life
who is fighting cancer. This run is
a greet way to help supportresearch
to aid- in finding cures for . the
disease.
We bait a run held locally in
Wingham, which starts at 10a.m, at
the Riverside Park in • Winghatn,

A service of worship was held on
Sunday,. September 9 at Lucknow
Presbyterian Church to commission
the teachers and leaders for the
coming year and to present awards
for Sunday School attendance in the
past year.
Rev. Margaret Kinsman gave her
sermon on "New Beginnings".
Alesha Moffat led the congregation
in the Responsive Psalm. The Old
Testament scripture reading was
done by Trevor Moffat, while the
New Testament reading was given
by Angela Cranston.
