madeduring 1985 and 1986,
because they may present a poten-
tial fire hazard, •
The coffeemakers involved are
Model A474Ala, Type A3. with
Series blathersi
ending n 5$ or 68.
However, unite marked with Series
Niunbers A1558 or A3058 are not
being rec*4.
The model, we and series num-
bers are marked on the metal bot-
tom plate of the coffeemaker.
The potential hazard, discovered
by Proctor -Site; results from . an
improper operation of a component
part of the coffe..einalrer, supplied by
another company.
The coffeemakers subject to this
voluntary recall are no longer being
manufactured nor are they available
in retail stores.
In the interest of Safety, Proc.
tor -Silex request that owners of the •
recalled coffeemakers discontinue

feemakers by mail, as soon as pos-
sible. Only the basic unit should be.

Along the way, the vehicle smashed
several mail boxes and traffic signs
before it wasfinally driven into a
ditch on Concesoion 2 and $ east of
County road 3:
Having received extensive
damage, the vehicle was abandoned
and later recovered by police. It
was noted by the owner that some
ports equipment was missing from
the trunk of the car, including.
