Voters' lists revisions for On-
tario's 35th provincial general elec-
tion will takeplace between August
16 and September 5. The election
will be held on September 6, 1990.
Qualified electors who were not
enumerated may have their names
added during the lemma period up
rto end including the day precedmg
election day. Additions, corrections
and deletions from the preliminary
lists of electors, prepared following
the door to door enumeradon, may
also be made at this tinie.
Urban electees must have their
names on the list. of electors or on
a certificate to vote: The Returning
Officer or a revision assistant will
provide such a certificate to people
added to the list following the
enurneration period. These electors
must present their certificate at their
polling place to receive a ballot and
vote.
On election day, rural electors not
on the list may still vote, provided
they take an oath and are accom-
ed by an elector who is ori the
lisI in that same polling division
and who will vouch for than.
