Lulu Stanley
Lulu Stanley of Lucknow, passed
away in Wingham •.and. District
Hospiital, • on July 27, 1990, in her,
` 75th year:
Mrs. Stanley had fanned, with her
late husband, Ezra,in Kinloss
township, prior to retiring .,to Luck-
now; She was a faithful member of
',the Kinlough. Pentecostal Church.
The former Lulu;Kaakke' was bon
in Kinloss township "on May 27,
1916, a daughter of the late Walter
and Eva .-(Russell) Kaake.' She
became Mrs. Ezra Stanley on July
31, 1935, during : the wedding
ceremony performed in Arnow.
Mrs. Stanley leaves to mourn her
passing, seven •,children, : Bev and
her husband Dan. Tollefsoti of Mis-
sissauga, .Doug and his wife Rita of
Harriston, Floyd and : ' his wife
Lynne of. Ripley, . Leonard. and his
wife Shirley of;Richer, Manitoba,
Larry and his wife . Jo Anne of
Kincardine, Arthur and, .his wife.

and her husband Tony Bedford of
Mississauga. Shewill be sadly
missed by':16 grandchlldrenand' two
great grandchildren. Mrs. Stanley is
also survived by her brother, R,J,
Kaalce and his wife Ileen of
Walkerton.
She was predeceased by her hus-
band. Ezra in 1987, one infant son
Kenneth Ezra and two sisters,
Merle and: Ella.
The family received friends at the
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral
Home, Luclmow, until Monday,
July 30, when the funeral service
was held at the Kinlough pentecos-
tal Church. Rev. Leonard Thirsk
officiated. Karlee and Ashley .Bed-
ford and Judy Gingrich and Mar-
gurete Thirsk, accompanied by
organist, Laura Dahmer, san duets
. during the service. $,.
Fiorerbearers were nine
grandchildren, Connie Howald,'
Cordy Smyth, Cathy Stanley, Ronda;,
Stanley, I Ashley Bedford; Karlee
Bedford, Keay, Stanley, Brett Stan
.ley and Dani Jane Tollefson:
Six grandsons acted as pall
bearers. - Brad - Tollefson, Kent,
Tollefson, Shawn Stanley,' Trent
Stanley, Terry Stanley and Dean
Stanley.
Lulu: Stanley was a wonderful
Christian lady,, who dearly loved the
Lord: She was an unselfish, kind;
loving Wife, mother and
grandmother, ` who will be sadly
missed‘ Many tears of sadness and
joy were shed and will continue; to
be shed in ; remembrance of this
mom and grandmother, who the
,Consiantine Ritgen of Ashfield township proudly.accepts his trophy
from Marina Reed, as the most improved rider after the three day
clinic, recently held at Hidden Valley Stables: Mrs. Reed presented
"the trophy on behaif of ,her %other, Marie Louise Dixon. The
perpetual - challenge` memorial ' trophy is named in honour of
Marina's grandfather, Colonel Theodore F. VanVeh, late of the
Imperial Russian Czar's Army. -Constant ire's name is• in excellent
company, as in 1972 the trophy was presented to Wayne McLen-
nan, now on the National Riding Team..
