90,*Girl Guide International Camp, being held at Camp Keewaydin near Amberley.
The camp was planned to promote the world friendship of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts during the 80th
'anniversary of Guiding in Canada. Raelene and Aparna were guests of Joy and Alesha during their first
week in Canada. An Open house is planned at the camp on Sunday, August 5 and the public is invited to

The two men were -attempting
to remove the truck from the
road by towing it with a tractor.
As Mr, Hr wkins slowed the
tractor down the truck hit it from
the rear, climbing the wheels of
the tractor and pinning Mr. Haw-
kins, who died as a result of
chest injuries.

• 20th Annual Craft
Festival this weekend
The committee members of the
Lucknow Agricultural Society
are busy finalizing plans for this
weekend. They are sponsoring
their 20th Amaral Craft Festival
in the Lucknowarena.
Doors open at 12 noon on
Friday and close at 10 p.m.
Saturday will be open from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m.
All inside space has been
booked by various exhibitors
since late April. Some of the
vendors will be chancing the
weather to set up outside at.the

Monday, August 6, The Sentinel
will be closed.
The deadline for editorial
copy, display and classified
advertsiing is 3 p.m. on Friday,
August 3.
Correspondents are asked to
submit their news -as early as

Accident
On July 24, at 7:45 a.m. the
Kincardine Detachment of the
Ontario Provincial Police inves-
tigated a two vehicle accident
that occurred at the intersection
of concession 6 at Brix:. County
road one, in Kinloss Township.
A 1978 Oldsmobile driven by
Dean Duvall, 23, of Lucknow
was struck by a 1975 Mack
dump truck driven by David
Seabrook of Kitchener. Mr.
Duvall was taken to Wingham
and District Hospital by am„
