The-lIaldenby family picnic and reunion.was held on Sunday at Ber- tha Haldenby's home at Westford, with 96 `atteudtng. Blanche Anderson of Kincardine was the oldest person attending and the youngest was Melanie, daughter of,Gary 'and Nancy Hedley of Teewater. There were games for the young and not so young and prizes were given. After supper a short meeting was held to elect the picnic convenors for next year. A ball game topped it off and everyone went home happy. The sun shone , once -,more • for the Haldenby picnic. A Christian skit followed discussing the good Samaritan showing how that story applied to the many problems that all experience. . Barbara played a tape that she and her daughter Rachel sang, then had a worship service that all took park in. Barbara also gave a the courtesies. The meeting closed with The Lord's Prayer, Grace and refreshments by the hostess.
