(Pat Livingston photo) 70 years ago July 22, 1920 Mr. Peter Macintosh fatally hurt at haying - The most shocking ac- cident we have been called upon to report for some time occurred on the farm of Mr. Peter Macintosh, 3rd concession of Kinloss, on Satur- day afternoon of last week. Mr. Macintosh was engaged in hauling in hay and was on the load handl- ing the unloading fork. It would ap- pear that the horses started a little sooner than he expected, and that they hay in lifting threw him backwards to the floor of the barn. Motorbike taken from roadside - Cletus Dalton, 16 -year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dalton of Ashfield, had his Honda motorbike stolen on Saturday, July 10.
