June 21. President, Muriel MacKen-
zie welcomed over 30 ladies, one
gentleman and one baby to the.

The meeting opened . with the
Opening Ode and Mary Stewart

speaker, Janet. Lane, the Bruce
County Diary Princess, who lives in
the Kinlough area. She has com-
ppleted .24 4-H courses and has.
Cuushed her second year at Univer-
sity of Guelph. She ,,certainly is
representing the Ontario Milk
Marketing Board in a pleasant and

Janet had a contest "On the Go"
put out this year by the Milk
Board, which tested ouring
and eating habits. She was

some of the things they had to do

they do not have to milk a dairy
cow. •
The business part of the meeting

The Grey Bruce Area Convention
will be in Lucknow in October and
the Lucknow, Holyrood .and Kair-
shea institute will form the local
conunittee in charge.

The annual picnic of the Lucknow
Women's Institute was held June 12
at St. • Christopher's Beach,
Goderich, with 17 members present..
Due to the cool weather a short
meeting was held, opening with the

who were the delegates.
