the Fanshawe Pioneer Villalge was
lots of fun — even though it did
rain. We were able to see many
things we've been talking about la
class. Our thanks to the Moms,
Dads and Grandma who came with

Our class accompanied Miss Mots
ton's Grade 3 class to the
Agriculture Museum in Milton.
Eight parents and friesnds went
with us to see all the plants that
might have been grown m pioneer
tulles and some of .the: plants grown
today. The early equipment for
planting and harvetg was ex-
plained as well as how people
prepared food for storage over ,the
winter months.
Eight groups havebeen made 'to
investigate , the many types of
farms today. Life on the farm is
one, students are finding, that re-
quires a lot of knowledge of many,
many things.
Mrs. Worsell, Grade 5
Mrs. Worsell's Students are busy
interviewing staff members to write
their biographies. They are also
drawing their portraits.
They have a Science Test on
Electricity this week and they'll be
having a test on long division next
week.
They enjoyed the Farm Safety
speaker Mr. Ken Kelley, and
they're looking forward to a safe
summer.

Grade six had a greattime at
camp last week. Even though it
rained at campfire time, we were
able to present our skits and roast
