Wawanosh sets mill rate
At the regular meeting of West
Wawanosh Township •council on
June 5, bylaw 7$. 1990, being a
bylaw authorizing the levying and
collecting of taxes for the various
purposes of the township in the
year 1990 was given three readings
and passed.
The total mill rate for farm and
residential, public school supporters
is 18.710, an increase 01 9.77 percent
over last year (17.045). For
separate school supporters, the mill
rate is 19.31, an increase 01 10 per-
cent over last year (17.59).
The mill rates are comprised as
follows:

On an average assessment of
$41,000, a public school supporter's
1990 taxes will be $767.11 compared
to 1909, taxes of $698.85.

$41,000, a separate school sup-
porter's taxes for 1990 will be
$$791.87, compared to 1989 taxes of

In other business, ,the clerk Joan
Armstrong, was directed to write in
reply to the Township of Ashfield's
letter in regard to the installation
of a culvert under County Road 1
in Dungannon, prior to paving,
enclosing a copy of a tetter from'
Maitland Engineering Services of

culvert construction was expected

The road superintendent was in-

Building permits were issued to
