A recent provincial library study by the
ministry indicates the Bruce County
library system to be the most used in On-
tario. The system'. is also used more
times, for every dollar spent, than any
other county library in the province, said

delivery van from Bruce County

committee recommended Bruce County
counckat its May Meeting, to ratify two-
year leases on seven 1900 Chevrolet
Cavaliers from Walkerton Motor Sales at
a monthly rate of 9307.44. The cars Will
be used for the Social Services Depart-
ment and the Planning Deparhnent, said
Ross Herron, chairman.
COUNCILLOR COMPLAINS
Steve Mowry, Kincardine reeve, com-
plained to the Agriculture, Tourism and
Planning/Land Division committee about
complaints he's received about service at
the county's tourism office in Wiarton.
He told Bruce County Council at its
May meeting that bitaines,s people from
Kincardine had to call the office for in-
formation about a convention held in
town earlier this month.
"When they called the office they were
asked, What do you want?' People were
quite turned off by this," said Mowry.
