CF radipthon
raises $109 000
Absolutely incredible results! \The first
ever Midwestern Ontario lamina• CF
Radiothon on 920 CKNX on Saturday;
May 12 raised $109000. Hosts Jim Moore
and Don Fraser of CKNX, and co-
chairmen, Kevin Semple of Listowel and
John Olson of Flesherton, were kept busy'
during the six hour broadcast.
"For a first-time event, we weren't
sure what to expect," said AM Program
Director Matt Miller. "But we knew that
the good people of Midwestern Ontario,
along with the Kinsmen and Kinette
Clubs, would make this a success."
It would be a great to raise enough
money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
If this were the case, a future radiothon
would not be, necessary. In a few days
time, a meeting will be held to determine
plans for next year.
A big thank,,you to you for your help
and support in the Midwestern Ontatio
Kinsmen CF Radiothon on CKNX.
