BAMBLING.S 1111 by Pat Livingston gambler spouts off on "personals" 'Roe did you meet your hmsbsnd, wife or that spell person in your life? Did you grow up . together, go to school tog in church? Were you in- , relativee or parents? 1 11 The es my life went to the same high as I did. The E' 2" athlete caught my eye and from that on it was MO to get to !mow hire, through mutual friends. Once 'he was Mitten by My • sparkling .blue eyes and long dark hair, he started the chase! Now if you're la1 ing to him, hell say I did the chasing! It doesn't matter who you believe, the ,point I am gig to is, if you are single and unattached !row do you meet people of the opposite; sex .if you cannot rely on any of. those mentioned: in the first Paragraph'.. Well, it would aF that a good number' of people, single and : not single are turning: •to' the personal columns, in the dailies, looking 'for someone to fill that void lit their life. I personally view such. "advertisfng" as risky, .to say the •least, Considering the number of weirdos running around. A review of a couple of last week's dallies Shows that allkinds of people, from different waiks, of life uee this Method of meeting people. It may be coiled lumping to ,, but most Of thee. ads tell you something about the person placing it. Take for instance the one that reals: "Good °look* soy white male, 31, 0', 170 lbs., mscular> +lean, at - tithed and discreet; longing to share a causal honest and htthmate re lationslyip with :a. Woman ..,.." Is this guy egotistical? I mean we all have our own definition of what its good looking: and sexy. In the same sentence he admits he is attached and then would have us believe)* is looking for an honest rela- tionship. How honest can a guy be who is attached and fooling aronuil at the same time? If he was really honest, he'd advise his "attachment" that he wished to be "unattached" and then fool, around! Take. the 46 year old businessman, who ° is lonely though married. He's seeking an Understanding woman companion. Couldn.'tyou just break down and cry for thisman, whose wife must com- pletely ignore him and obviously doesn't comprehend what hubby's wants and needs. Well, bud I know what you'd get if I was your spouse!
