One In Pour Volunteer
Canadians are strong believers in
volunteerism. Over five million of them,
or 27 per cent of the population aged fif-
teen and over, do volunteer work. In On-
tario, according to a recent study by the
Ministry 'of Tourism and Recreation, this
works out to one in every four adults, or
the equivalent of almost two million
people.
